Our Core Values:
Women-focused, Courageous leadership, Commitment to inclusion and growth, Anticipate change

Our Core Purpose:
To strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry
Why a focused woman's group in today's industry? While the industry and climate have both definitely changed for the better for women, there is still a relevant place to provide additional networking and mentoring opportunities for women by women, particularly by those that helped shape today's climate. As such, the role of NAWIC has changed over the years to keep up with the current trends. Our Chapter's goal is to not focus on the hardships of the past, but to provide a focused peer network that continues to open even more doors, offers general education, and, overall, creates additional options for our members than they would otherwise have without it.
What kind of role does NAWIC provide in your career? For more than 60 years, NAWIC has helped women take advantage of the opportunities in construction. Whether you want to embark on a new career, establish a networking base, be a mentor, make a difference in your community, continue your education, or invest in great professional relationships, NAWIC offers a variety of opportunities — large and small.
Who makes up our chapter? Our chapter is made up of women from all aspects of the construction industry including, but definitely not limited to, business owners and principals, project managers, accountants, attorneys, project engineers, administrators; and from all types of companies such as owners, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors, law firms, insurance carriers, and brokers. We do not focus, nor are we made up of, a single type of role. We provide entrance to an established network within the local and regional industry.
